Study Abroad in Italy Program An American university in Rome, Italy, John Cabot University has been welcoming study abroad students to its campus in the beautiful neighborhood of Trastevere for over 40 years. Our students come from over 60 countries to study the liberal arts in our small, engaging classes with world-renowned professors and scholars.  Study abroad students are able to directly enroll at JCU and choose from over 250 courses each semester to earn credits that transfer easily back to American institutions. Students enjoy airport pickup, a comprehensive orientation program, and university housing in beautiful Roman buildings equipped with 24/7 security and on-site support.  Outside of the classroom, study abroad participate in JCU athletics, clubs, performing arts, community service, and prestigious internships with over 150 companies and organizations.
