Admission Policy

GENERAL 

Garrison Institutions have been established primarily to meet the educational needs of the children of army personnel. All children of serving Army personnel seeking admission in garrison institutions and fulfilling admission criteria given below will be admitted.

ENTRY POINTS/AGE LIMITS

New admission will be made for Montessori and Preparatory classes two months prior to the start of the new session. Admission to classes IX and  'O' Level (First Year) will be made two weeks after the declaration of the final examination results.

AGE LIMITS FOR ADMISSION

1. In Reception School (i.e. Montessori and Preparatory classes) age should be between 3 ½ to 4 ½ and 4 ½ to 5 ½ years respectively on 1^st April of the year of admission. Age relaxation of up to maximum of 30 days may, however, be granted by the Chairman LGES.
2. Age categories for other classes of LGES will be as follow: -
